This policy explains what information the Android game Sly Snakes (package com.crowncub.slysnakes) uses, and why. The game is made by Crowncub ("we", "us"). We keep data use as small as we can.
The short version
- You do not need an account. We never ask for your name, email, phone number, photos or location.
- Your progress and settings are saved on your device.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Every ad request is marked as directed to children, so ads are not personalised and are limited to content rated for all ages.
- We do not sell your information.
Information saved on your device
The game saves your progress and settings on your phone or tablet so you can continue where you left off. This information stays on your device; we do not receive it.
If Android backup is on, Android may include this data in your device backup to your Google account. Google handles that backup; we cannot see it. Uninstalling the game deletes the data on the device.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The game is supported by ads from Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, this software may collect:
- your device's IP address, which can show an approximate location such as your country or city;
- information about the app and the ads, such as ads shown and tapped, and app launches;
- technical and diagnostic information, such as crash logs and performance data;
- device identifiers used for advertising and fraud prevention.
Every ad request is marked as directed to children and as coming from a user under the age of consent. This tells Google to show only non-personalised ads, with no interest-based tracking, limited to content suitable for all ages. The game does not use the Android advertising ID for ad personalisation.
Google handles this information under its own policy: policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses data from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Some ads are optional reward videos you choose to watch. You never have to watch one to play.
Children
Sly Snakes is made for players of all ages, including children. It has no accounts, chat or sharing features, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child's information was collected in a way that does not match this policy, email us and we will help, including deleting it.
Keeping and deleting information
Game data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the game. Information collected by Google's ad software is kept under Google's policies. See how to delete your data.
Security
We do not run servers for this game and do not receive your game data. Google's ad software sends its data over encrypted connections. No service can promise perfect security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. If a change is important, we will also say so in the game's update notes.
